Is there a sample of this to see?
Nevyn, 04-01-06 07:53:
At the moment not.But if your are intrested i can add a new GMENU and a sample how it looks like...

Greetings
Helmuth

That would be excellent, thanks!

As promised i added a new GMENU. You can find it in the snippets section or the TOP 10 Updates.
I also saw that we have another GMENU snippet online its called "Bold font in GMENU RO".
Let me know if it helped..

Outstanding! That's exactly what I've been looking to do with my site! Two more questions though. Can the menu have an 'active' state, where the active menu item would use a different image? Also, what would have to change in order for this to work in TemplaVoila?

Thanks!!
Nevyn, 05-01-06 16:39:
Yes the active can be added. It's called ACT.You can use the same code as for the rollover you just have to replace the RO with ACT.

I'll let you know for the TemplaVoila..

For templavoila you can do it the same way, just map the part of your menu as TypoScript object path, set a name (eg. lib.mainmenu) and build your HMENU in the template setup into this name(lib.mainmenu=HMENU etc).

have fun

Thank you guys so much for all your help!
One more question for you. How do you adjust the space between each menu item?
Nevyn, 10-01-06 20:11:
There are different ways to do a spacing between menu items.
1) Using HTML / CSS to add the spacing
2) Using the Graphics to do the spacing (example generate larger images)..
Depends on what you exactly want to do..
If you want post a sample code / menu to the forum or give me the url where you have the menu and i will have a look at it..
Jody, 10-01-06 20:26:
Here's the site I'm doing:
http://www.wals.lib.wi.us/fdltest/

Which, I'm trying to replicate this:
http://www.fdlpl.org/draft/redesign/

So, eventually the images will change, but I'd like to get it working with your example first.

Thank you so much for your help on this!
